Everyday Vibrational Influences
We can maintain or improve our current health by keeping the vibration of our body high. We can do this by surrounding ourselves with higher vibrational energies and being high vibrational ourselves.
Many of us have played with tuning forks or watched someone else work with them. If Fork #1 is struck, and then held near an unstruck fork (Fork #2), Fork #2 will begin to vibrate to ‘resonate’ with Fork #1. The Law of Resonance states that one vibrating energy will work to vibrate at the higher vibration of a nearby energy. Knowing this, it makes sense to take actions and surround us with higher vibrational energy and that will help us reach a higher vibe!
Here are a few practices we can do in our everyday lives to increase our vibration, also known as frequency.
Have Positive Thoughts:
o Positive self-talk
o Appreciation of what and who is in our lives
o Feel and experience Joy, this is not only an emotion it is a vibration!
o Repeat positive mantras
Take Positive Actions:
o Meditation / yoga
o Loving friendships
o Volunteering / community
o Trying new things, think outside our comfort zone
Enjoy Positive Environment:
o Toxic free cleaning
o Organic / chemical free food
o Clean Air / time in nature
o Organized space with free-flowing energy
o Chemical free self-care products
Practice Positive Self Care:
o Therapeutic essential oils
o Self-massage, self-reiki, self-reflexology
A few practices to be aware of that tend to decrease our vibration / frequency are listed below. By simply being aware of these, we can make small steps every day to reduce the use of these.
Dwelling on Negative Thoughts:
o I’m not good enough
o I’m stupid
o I’m not smart enough
Taking Negative Actions:
o Surfing social media / television for hours
o Sedentary lifestyle
o Repeating patterns of activity
o Stuck in routine habits of thought
Draining Energy Environment:
o Chemically based cleaning products
o Packaged and /or genetically modified foods
o Fast food / soda / excess caffeine
o Cluttered / unorganized space
o Endless collections of old, unused items
o Chemically based self-care products
We know many of these items already, so let us review just a few in more detail.
First, the air we breathe daily can be polluted with car exhaust, smog, smoke, etc. While we can take time to seek out parks and natural settings to fill our lungs with cleaner air whenever possible, it is ever present for many. Breathing in these pollutants can have negative impact on our health. Another large contributor to the air we breathe, is in our homes. The products many of us use to clean our homes can contain chemicals and when we breathe those chemicals in, these too can have an impact on our health just like the pollution outside. Along the same line, the products we use to wash our clothes and care for our body can be filled with chemicals as well. It may smell lovely, but is the scent natural or a chemically altered version of a scent? Simply being aware of the items we breathe in, we can take steps to move toward using more natural based products so breathing in or applying them, will be less impactful than chemical based alternatives.
Next, many of us would love to eat healthier, but time and product availability can be limited, plus the knowledge of knowing how to cook healthier versions is also limited. By incorporating two small things into our routine, we can start to shift that. First, read labels. There are packaged foods and there are processed foods. We can start to read labels and look up a few items we don’t know, we may be surprised of what we are putting in and on our bodies. We all spend time on social media, start following a healthy eating page and begin making healthy versions of dishes. Finding the joy in making meals at home from a few simple ingredients and knowing we are benefiting our bodies can help us feel better overall.
Lastly, we are with our own thoughts and emotions 100% of the time. Let us be aware of how we are talking to ourselves! Allow ourselves to be forgiving of our mistakes, and allow as much grace for ourselves as we often give others. We all have a rough day here and there, or a rough week if we have experienced a life changing event, and we can allow ourselves time to process the event. As with all events, seek the positive aspects and dwell on those!
By taking note of our surroundings, thoughts and the other energies we expose ourselves to, we can open our eyes to learning and growing from understanding energy and the impacts they have on us! If we improve the energy around us, it will be reflected by the energy flow within us!
Until next time, Namaste.
